About the journal
Acta Juris Processualis will publish scholarship that takes procedural law seriously as doctrine, as an institutional achievement, and as a form of practical reason.
The journal welcomes work in the tradition of procedural law—pleading, evidence, and the conduct of litigation, criminal procedure, judgment, and enforcement—as well as scholarship that situates procedure in its institutional, social, and historical context. It will publish comparative procedural law, the history and theory of procedure, and work that crosses the boundaries between fields.
The journal is being developed as an independent, international forum. It is committed to careful editorial work, serious engagement with argument, and scholarship that is accessible to readers across jurisdictions and traditions.
